Menu and guest count | Special event fees | Payment schedule for special event only | Security | Damages | Restrictions | Currency The guidelines for the Silent Waters Villa Terms and Conditions for weddings, receptions and other special events rentals are as follows: MENU AND GUEST COUNTA minimum guaranteed guest count and menu selection should be coordinated two (2) months prior to your event. Final guest counts for all functions must be received ten (10) working days prior to the function date. SPECIAL EVENT FEESWeddings, receptions and other one-day special events with no villa rental are welcomed at Silent Waters Villa when dates are available, but are normally limited to Saturday or Sunday. All special events are subject to a $3,000 location fee when rental of the guest suites is not included. Our facility rental fee includes use of the main garden, main pavilion, main patio and sun terrace, bar, dining room and lighted heliport. This fee is non-refundable unless cancelled prior to 60 days before the event date, in which case it is fully refundable. A set-up fee of $12 per guest (minimum of $600) for the use of linens, tables, chairs and serving stations will apply. PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS ONLYUpon booking, a down payment of fifty percent (50%) of the facility rental fee is required, and the balance is due 60 days before the event date. Fifty percent (50%) of the estimated bill shall also be due 60 days before the event. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 60 days before the event. Ten (10) business days prior to your event, the estimated balance of your function will be required by bank wire transfer, Visa or Mastercard (additional processing fee may apply). Any and all incidental charges incurred during the event shall be paid that day. All food and beverage shall incur a twenty percent (20%) service charge. GCT (Jamaican Government Consumption Tax) is not included. SECURITYSilent Waters does not assume responsibility for damages or loss of any merchandise or articles brought to Silent Waters by the client or their guests. Additional security, as required, will be provided by Silent Waters for an extra charge.
DAMAGESClients and/or their guests shall assume full responsibility for payment of any damages incurred to the Silent Waters property while setting up, during or departing their event. Full reimbursement shall be the responsibility of the client; whether the client or the Production Company contracted by the client caused the damage. In addition, details regarding set-up and breakdown times of outside agents such as a band, DJ, florist, etc., must be submitted to the Property Manager for approval prior to the event. RESTRICTIONSAny leftover beverages and/or food remain the property of Silent Waters. If the clients are guests staying at Silent Waters, any remaining food and beverages are at their disposal for the duration of their stay. CURRENCYAll prices are quoted in United States Dollars (US$).
